Africa Foundation for Human Rights & Tolerance
Creating awareness of the value of morals and a drug-free life.
Creating a better Africa ...
Africa has been beset by human rights violations for decades:
horrific wars, dictatorships, drugs and exploitation in various
forms. As a result we live on one of the wealthiest continents
on earth yet we are afflicted with poverty, drugs, AIDS, crime
and strife. The future must be redefined and a better understanding
achieved by all Africans of their valuable inheritance.

The Arts Festival of Southern Africa
This festival takes place at the beginning of March each year.
The Festival is there to encourage artists in any and every field
of the arts. Artists are an invaluable part of our society. A
nation in which its artists are suppressed - and there have been
a great number - is a drab and unhappy nation. Fortunately, South
African arts and artists are booming. The nation is booming. It's
no coincidence that the two are linked!
Based on the now famous Saint Hill® International Arts Festival,
our Arts Festival has gone from strength to strength and is the
highlight of the year for performers, artists, and audiences alike!

SA Good News
The Good News is a news website that highlights the positive
developments in South Africa.
We are an independent organisation, apolitical and with no agenda
other than to source and publish good news about our beloved country.
We are just a group of passionate South Africans who believe in
the future of this country.
We like to stimulate dialogue and debate. We like to offer a
fresh perspective.
We are well aware of the challenges that we face and the extent
of these challenges. We address these challenges full on, without
fear, without favour.
We choose to concentrate on the solution, rather than the problem.
We strive to offer solutions where others may just see a crisis.
Bad news sells. That is a global reality and it is no different
in South Africa. Arguably, the news mass media tend to focus on
the bad news and largely ignore the positive developments in this
county, creating an “information imbalance”. This
imbalance fuels the perception that bad news is predominant in
South Africa, whereas the reality is that we have many reasons
to be exceptionally proud of our country’s recent past and
optimistic about our future.

The Hubbard College of Education/Administration
The Hubbard College of Administration International is dedicated
to the creation of a sane and stable world in which productive
individuals are able to prosper.
We are achieving this purpose by training society’s future
administrators, for it is the administrator that deals in the
survival of men and the prosperity of nations. The Administrative
Technology developed by L. Ron Hubbard provides the fundamentals
of organisation and administration; at the Hubbard College we
provide programs based on these principles to train true administrators
and tomorrow’s leaders. And through our dedication to this
purpose we are indeed creating that saner, more stable world for
all.

Movement for Good
The Movement for Good is a network of organisations that have
come together to inspire and mobilise South Africans to become
active citizens for good. Our vision is to build a country that
lives its constitutional values, is safe, and has opportunity
for all - so that we and our children have hope in our future.
The Movement aims to integrate organisations that are currently
mobilising South Africans so that there is coherency and synergy
across the various campaigns. All across our great nation, good
people have been independently organising, tirelessly striving
and selflessly building communities that care.
You can play a part in this, no matter how insignificant you
think you or your actions may be. Every little bit makes a difference,
and if we can mobilise the collective, as we believe we can, we
can ALL contribute…for good.
It’s time to mobilise our nation, to bring us all together
into an unstoppable force. It starts with us. It starts with you.

Million Man March
With unity we can turn the situation around to the basics that
have been the cornerstone of African society, botho /ubuntu.
It means co-existence, empathy and a capacity for doing well for
and with others. This mass campaign is meant to address all sorts
of crime but the main aim is to translate the dialogue about crime
into action, its sources and severity..." Desmond Dube
Scientology Volunteer Ministers
"A Volunteer Minister is a person who helps his fellow man
on a volunteer basis by restoring purpose, truth and spiritual
values to the lives of others." — L. Ron Hubbard
The last decade has been one of the most turbulent in our history.
Opposing ideologies, violent revolutions and a frail socioeconomic
structure have subjected more than one-third of the world’s
population to oppression, poverty and brutal human rights violations.
Terrorism rips at the very fabric of society, propagating a mindset
governed by hysteria, fear and anxiety.
However, emotional stress doesn’t halt at the borders of
war-ravaged nations. Right at home the epidemics multiply—from
drug abuse, delinquency and broken homes, to illiteracy, unemployment
and the stress these problems all generate. Under these conditions,
civic administrators and human services personnel bear a tremendous
burden.
But there are answers, real ones that work. Delivered by Scientology
Volunteer Ministers whenever and wherever needed with remarkable
results. These answers come from the greater body of Scientology
technology and are intended for people of all beliefs. In fact,
anyone of any belief can become a Volunteer Minister.

Stop Crime Say Hello
“ This is where we share what has become a passion of ours.
Our hope is that after visiting our site, we will be connected
by a common vision and desire to do something immediate and powerful
to counter crime in South Africa. What we’re proposing is
like the proverbial mustard seed moving the seemingly immovable
mountain. Sound impossible? Not so... big changes are brought
about by small actions repeated often.
By looking one another in the eyes, smiling and saying hello
we show respect and restore dignity. These values are the cornerstones
of a peaceful and safe society. So powerful, as it is something
that each of us can do every day.

The Trust
The Trust enables you to get involved in addressing the challenges
that confront us by streamlining the act of giving. This website
will provide a single, global access point to a range of causes
that boosts fundraising ability by consolidating marketing efforts
under one umbrella and through due dilligence, qualifying the
charities that live up to the promise of giving to those who need
it most.
We are in the process of building a portal for those who care,
visit us on the 18th of October 2008 to find out how you can make
a difference.

Upskill for Africa
An individual's ability to perform on the job is directly related to his or her ability to understand and apply what has been taught.
Being able to pass an exam, or parrot the answers, does not ensure work skills. An individual needs to be able to bridge the gap between theory and practical.
Upskill for Africa's bridging programme does just this, they open the door to real understanding and application.
